It's an American company running or planning to run soccer schools and academies in 15 countries. The operation is done in cooperation with local charity organizations. Thousands of children get their education via VSG and some of them will also become professional soccer players.

What is the business idea?

It's a new, modern and responsible way to develop the best soccer players in the world by running academies, primarily in developing countries, where school education and soccer training are combined. This is done with a clear commercial focus.

Who owns VSG?

The company is owned by the founders.

Is the company listed?

No, but the intention is to list the company within five years.

Are VSG agents?

No we don't see us as a traditional agent. VSG is introducing a new way of thinking within the soccer world and the business. VSG act as mentors to the players accordingly to our own model Soccer Mentor 6-60.VSG will always put the player up front. VSG will most of the time negotiate directly with the clubs so middle hands like traditional agents will not be necessary. VSG has that competence internally.

What is the vision of VSG?

To within 5 years have operations in 25 countries and be the leading company for developing world class soccer talents and at the same time give the students first rate education, food, medical care and a good life after school.

In which countries do you operate?

VSG has operations or is in the planning process to start operations in Ghana, Philippines, Brazil, Trinidad and Tobago and Argentine. Other countries will come in the future.

Who do you cooperate with?

VSG primarily cooperates with local charity organisations in the countries where the company operates. The cooperation is mainly about schools and education. VSG also cooperates with local and international soccer clubs. Also we cooperate with soccer organizations and governments.

How do you take social responsibility?

The company slogan is "We bring stars on pitch". For us this means that the children succeeding with their education but not becoming soccer professional are also stars in their own way. With solid and high quality education they will be well equipped for an occupation in their respective country. The students with education from VSG will get a great start in life compared to most children. All children finishing the schools of VSG will get a professional guidance by the company.

Is it ethically ok to invest in children?

The business model of VSG is about the sponsorship for a new time, a modern way to help children in development countries with education and at the same time play around with the ball. Some of these students will get the opportunity to become professional soccer players. This is not possible without financing.

By supporting the children financially, individuals and companies can help them to a good life. Then if a bonus is possible if some of the children goes professional it will be even more interesting. More sponsors will give more children in the development countries a chance to an education, which will benfit the whole country..

Do you cooperate with the big clubs?

VSG has at the moment no direct cooperation with the big clubs, but they are our customers since our players will end up there as professionals if they are talented enough.

In the future VSG foresees several areas of cooperation with big clubs.

What happens to the children not talented enough go on to the Soccer Academies?

These children continue their normal education within our and our cooperation partners programs.

What happens to them if they don't become professionals?

These students have a very solid education, often better than the standard in the country. If they don't get a professional contract abroad they can get contracts in the local leagues. They will also be given the opportunity to continue to work within the organization if possible.

Why do you only have boys in your schools and academies?

By cultural and religious reasons, soccer isn't allowed or developed for girls in many of the countries where VSG operates. This means that there simple aren't any soccer leagues for women in these countries. However, we plan to start soccer schools and academies for girls as soon as it is possible,

How do you sponsor a student?

There are several models for sponsoring a student, but the basic model is that every student has 10 sponsorships that can be bought via this website or contacting us.

Next level of sponsorship is the soccer academy sponsorship. Each academy player has one academy sponsorship.

How can you make money from a sponsorship?

If a student from Soccer Pro Academy goes professional, the sponsors will get a percentage from the transfer sum, club to club. Each ordinary sponsorskip is worth 2.5% and the academy sponsorship is worth 25%.
