VSG Nationwide Soccer Talent Hunt Nigeria 2010.

Registration starts 1 February and ends 31 May 2010.

Due to increasing public demand, VSG Velletri Soccer Academy Talent Hunt program 2010 dates of registration has been extended. The reason has been to enable numerous players wanting to be part of the program but with difficulties in registration because of circumstances like poor Internet facilities and late information on registration date to participate.

Many thanks to all the prospective young soccer talents who has successful made their registration in the ongoing VSG Soccer Talent Hunt Project. We are grateful and wish you best of luck to Gothia Cup 2010 Tournament and Free Professional Training Program in Sweden

The new date now states as follows:

From 1 April 2010 registration continuous till 31 May, 2010. Please note that screening of registered Players will be on while registration continues.

Also, dates and Venues for screening, including names and mobile numbers of States Coordinators would be published in the newspapers, via text messages, VSG website and emails on March 28, 2010

The trial will take place in 36 States of the Federation, and in over 50 football pitches throughout the regions with the help of VSG Representatives. The top 40 players will head to VSG Velletri Soccer Academy Camp for Football Excellence where they will stay for a critical final month of careful evaluation, training and development from VSG dedicated team of experts before their futures are decided.

The final listed 40 players will be admitted in VSG Camp for Professional Training and receives Free Accommodation, Free Feeding, Free Training materials. A great opportunity for selected players to be in Sweden for the highly recognized international youth soccer tournament - Gothia Cup 2010 and attend a two weeks international professional training with VSG club partner IFK Goteborg in Sweden and trials with other VSG Partner Clubs before the tournament and another great opportunity to be picked by VSG European Partner Clubs Scouts, Coaches and Agents during the trials matches.

VSG players abroad for training and trial

Two VSG players from VSG Academy Nigeria are now in training and tryout with the Swedish Division 1 Club Valsta Syrianska FC and Premier Club IFK Goteborg. The players are Okafor (Okafor Chukwudi) who are invited for try out by Valsta Syrianska FC and Victor (Akinola Temitope Victor) who are in training program with IFK Goteborg Academy.

The next couple of weeks will also include competitive training matches in Gothenburg and Stockholm. The players arrived in Sweden together with their Player and Corporate Manager Mrs. Oluwakemi Ruth Lori.

Hello Friends, I am Ismail Lawal, a former Student and Player of VSG Velletri Soccer Academy Nigeria, now playing Professional Football with IFK Goteborg Sweden, its my pleasure to welcome you all to Sweden for the Training and Trials and wish you the best of luck in the Gothia Cup 2010 Tournament.
