VSG Nigeria Academy Director has visited our club partner IFK Gothenburg in Sweden.

VSG Nigeria Academy Director Prince Jagun Lori visited our club partner IFK Gothenburg in Sweden. The trip was very interesting and inspiring and gave a better knowledge about what a professional club like IFK Gothenburg can offer corporate sponsors like Kia Motors and others.

The trip also included different business meetings like visiting the biggest refinery in Scandinavia, Preem Petroleum AB (publ), Preemraff Gothenburg.

Time was also spent at the IFK Gothenburg football academy. The visit ended by attending the match between IFK Gothenburg-Hammarby IF.

VSG Soccer Academy Nigeria, Winner of the Oba Adeyemi 70th Birthday Soccer Tournament October 2008

The VSG Soccer Academy Nigeria are the champions of the Oba Adeyemi 70th soccer tournament, which was organized by National Sports Commission and, Oyo State branch. The tournament was played at Oyo Township Stadium.

The team showed good attitude and understanding of the game. They played much disciplined in both formation 4-5-1 and 4-4-2. The team played five matches and won four, drew one and scored seven goals excluding penalties. Four of the team players have been invited by a European club for training and education during December. All of the talented players have been invited for different U- National Teams during this season.
